Rothstein-Tauber and Directions For Decisions Merge to Become RTi-DFD
Stamford, Connecticut – February 6, 2004 — Rothstein-Tauber, Inc., a Stamford, CT based full-service market research company, and Directions For Decisions, a Jersey City, NJ full-service market research company join forces and begin business operations as RTi-DFD. The two companies gain significant depth and breadth in terms of client base and support. The new organization will be headed by Mel Rothstein and Joseph F. Baldi, both of whom held Board and Chair positions with CASRO, the market research industry’s leading professional association.
In other organizational moves, David A. Rothstein will become Chief Operating Officer, and Lawrence Rubenstein, formerly Executive Vice President (EVP) of DFD, will become the EVP of the combined entities. Richard C. Witt will be promoted to EVP and continue to direct the company’s Columbus, OH, office.

The entities will become a force across a variety of industries, including consumer packaged goods, financial services, health care and pharmaceuticals, and home and household products and services.
RTi-DFD will maintain its headquarters in Stamford, CT, and branches in Iselin, NJ, as well as Westerville, OH.
